The other day I stumbled across this at Beer47.
A few days ago I posted an article about California Assembly Bill 1598, which is currently in committee and will, as currently written, potentially outlaw any malt beverage that contains caffeine, including the beloved craft beer styles that include coffee such as espresso stouts, coffee porters, and more.
Now I’m not the biggest fan of coffee, but why would anyone want to ban coffee beer? Surely if underage drinkers are getting it, if its banned then wont they be drinking something else instead?
So therefore I’m sticking the “I heart coffee stout” on the right hand side —-> More a protest then a declaration of love for the stuff!
Sorry for the lack of update recently. Its been a combination of things, such as starting a webdesign course, going to Dartmoor, and having to install new operating systems on both PCs!
Well there are few beers that when I taste – to start with – I’m not sure if I like the idea of finishing it.
In my quest to find an interesting looking beer in Sainsburys (which I’ve not already tried), I came across this from Adnams. They seem to be so proud of ‘East Green’s – Green credentials that they slapped the words “CARBON NEUTRAL” all over the front of the bottle. To the extent that it seems more important then the name itself.
